Black & White 1
Black and White Photography 1
Creating dynamic black and white photographs may be more complex than you think. We will begin with a visual exploration of seeing in black and white with a discussion on pre-visualizing your color photo in black and white. Working from RAW images, students will learn how to convert their digital color images to grayscale with the greatest dynamic tonal range possible. Whether you are interested in replicating high ISO grain definition of Kodak Tri-X film or simply want to maximize the density in your digital image, this class cover all areas of black and white conversion. Editing will be done in Lightroom with a demonstration in Silver Effects Pro. Experience in either software is not required before joining this course.
